Joyeux Anniversaire Elder Gautavai!!! -- Joie de baptême

Today is the elder's 20th birthday..it is the second and final BD on the mission.

Weekly questions for the elder from home. His response received in his return email received today.

Q1. How’s your new companion training coming along?
A1. Things are going pretty good.
Q2. Big Country in your pictures - is he from the MTL, member, football player?
A2. He is a 17-yr. old member in the Lasalle Ward. His brothers are in our branch and is really close with Jordan and others we hang out with. He is a really sporty guy and loves coming out with us so we bring him along a lot. He is really awesome--I got a lot of love for him! He is actually a basketball player but has been recently getting some looks for some local schools here in Quebec for football!
Q3. Did you have a baptism over the weekend..how are the others progressing.
A3. Yes we had the baptism this past Saturday it was an amazing moment! Other investigators are progressing slowly but surely haha.
Q4. Are you in need of anything at this time?
A4. No, we're good.
Q5. Who can we pray for this week?
A5. Investigators!

Bonjour vous tous!

Thank you for the Birthday wish! It's extremely special to have my last birthday on the mission on PDay. Though today still feels like any other day, its been really nice to be able to read your letters today! Yes it will be really sweet to be able to celebrate next year with you all! No no real plans..we went to the gym this morning so that was fun but the day is pretty normal.

Yes it was pretty awesome to go and play some ball with D. the other day! His team is on spring break so it was just us but when they all get back we plan to throw around again. I plan on contacting some of his teammates. It was fun to just play some ball again. I was really rusty and so out of shape but it's all good haha. Yeah I think they would be D2. Umm, I'm not sure where he stands right now but he has a really good arm. His whole family are members. D. hasn't been baptized yet but will when he returns from spring break!

HABby 20th Birthday!!
Thanks for your little inserts of your talk. I can truly testify that the book of Mormon is so very powerful. Dealing with a lot of less actives, I have come to find a common theme with them all. They have no testimony of the book of Mormon! It's so key that we all gain a testimony of this book because it truly is the keystone of our religion and when we build our foundation on the book of Mormon the devil will have no power over us. Through the words in this book we will know what we need to do to have the spirit with us and to follow the Lord!

Good to hear Kelee is fully engaged in the grind! Makes me proud to see he is getting a lot of looks anything from BYU yet?? Haha jokes it will come soon! That is pretty cool about Max Tooley we will definitely have to sway him to come to Provo! Looks like Btown is starting to turn Cougar Blue hahaha. You'll have to send him my congrats and even hook me up with his email I'd like to write him!

Well family things here are great! The baptism was really, really cool. We had a minor problem with the hot water so we were forced to use the cold water haha i felt bad but hey it worked out! The spirit was definitely super strong there! It was also really neat for me to be able to confirm her a member and give her the Holy Ghost!

Well I love you all and thank you for your love and support! Miss you guys so much! Have a great week!

Avec Amour!

Elder Gautavai
