Q1. Were you able to focus much Friday?! haha..we thought of you even more than usual (which is a lot) on Friday as we were at Mekelee’s game.
A1. I must say Friday was a little strange knowing High School Ball was under way and especially since Kelee was playing..made it even more strange but cool at the same! Just glad they got the W!
Q2. With the transfer are you still in the same 4-some as far as your living arrangements? how many are in your district? How’s that coming along with being a district leader?
A2. Right now we are a trio..as one of the Elders is waiting on his new companion who got sick at the MTC so we will be a 3-some for 2 weeks..There are 4 teams..It's coming along pretty well..I don't feel too much of a big change mostly that I have to do weekly calls.
Q3. Hopefully you have some really cool experiences in finding, teaching, serving this past week especially with your investigators.
A3. Yeah pretty good week!
Q4. How are you for things you need this week?
A4. Just those previous things!
Q5. We got Laura and Penelope, and JM in our prayers, can we add anyone or anything new to pray on this week?
A5. No that's all.
Bonjour Famille!
Such a great letter! Thanks for the pictures I love it haha! Definitely was looking forward to this PDay in anticipation for the news on how the first Varsity game went. Good to hear that Kelee and the Boys and East had a solid first showing. They beat a pretty solid 5A team on the road! Sounds like they should be gunning for that title! Like always so proud of Kelee! Even more excited to hear how things go this week in Cali! This is big time!
Man thats pretty sweet you had the opportunity to sit next to Elder W. Craig Zwick! (member of the first quorum of the Seventy). That's awesome he was really impressed with the way you conducted the meeting!
Well this week out here was great! We definitely had to get in touch with our inner Brazilian side as we had 2 dinner appointments with families from Brazil haha..Also we had a dinner appointment with a family from Argentina. This ward is so diverse it's so awesome!
We met with Laura this past week and it was a great lesson..it was all of a sudden as she gave us really short notice..But we were able to quickly find a member to help us teach and we taught a powerful lesson. She has been struggling with her faith in overcoming coffee. She knows this stuff is true and even wants to get baptized but she said its just overcoming coffee..I shared 1 Nephi 3:7 and that scripture really hit her hard!
"for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." (1 Nephi 3:7)And said she can do it! She also expressed the want to enter the temple when its rededicated so that's something we are really pumped about! She is great!..The ward has also fellowshipped her so good! It helps when you have a lot of Spanish speakers haha.
Well things are great out here! Thanks for your love and support! Miss you guys!
Love you!
Avec Amour!!
Elder Gautavai
