The House of the Lord: "this was the room where they all started"

Bonjour Famille!

Yes its already been such a huge blessing having the temple around. We can definitely feel the excitement of its opening. Since we are in the temple area we have the privilege of going a few times and will be going a lot more this week. We even had the opportunity to do parking duty on Saturday which was great haha. There were a ton of visitors from the States and it was so good to see people from my previous areas as well.

Really happy to hear Kelee and the Boys took care of business this past week! Man sounds like they are really playing well right now. I'm super excited for Kelee to be able to play up at the stadium at the U, Rice Eccles, this week. I can remember playing up there and it was such a thrill to be on that field as a high school player! Hope he enjoys it! So good to hear Alema reached out to Kelee as well. I love that man a lot and happy he is having success at Alta. I too agree that this is the best thing for Kelee. He has grown in so many ways since he started, he is really far ahead of me haha

Well we had a super cool experience with the temple open house. So this past week we had invited the Mangatay's to come to the temple with us but brother Mangatay was really shy and hesitant about it and you could tell he didn't really want to go but we kept calling him throughout the week and he eventually said okay to going on Saturday night. So we went and it was a great experience! He and is family really loved the temple and you could tell they were feeling it. While in the sealing room their 11 year-old son mentioned that "this was the room where they all started" and kept reminding his family about that special day. Afterwards Bro Mangatay thanked us for coming with them and that he really enjoyed it. Then yesterday at our dinner with Bishop Lopez he thanked us for the work we have done with the Mangatays and told us he interviewed the parents and they both now have temple recommends! Gosh its awesome!

Well things are great! Transfer call was Saturday. No change for us I will finish out my last 4 weeks with elder Blackwelder here in Greenfield Park South Shore for which I am grateful.
